Curriculum subjects covering a very broad spectrum are routinely offered. In particular, the Department has recently initiated an inter-college ecological engineering curriculum program, aiming at integration of engineering and ecological practices. The faculty is active and productive in research. Research grants come from the National Science Council, the Council of Agriculture, Water Resources Agency, Environmental Protection Administration, irrigation associations and many consulting companies.
