This program will enable students to acquire the skills necessary to implement and/or develop a professional or research project in adapted physical activity. To this end, they will develop;


- expertise in the knowledge of metabolic, cardiovascular, osteoarticular, neuromuscular, neurodegenerative pathologies, aging and more particularly in the preventive and therapeutic role of physical activity and adapted nutrition in these patients.


- knowledge of the different structures (associations, hospitals, private, etc.) hosting adapted physical activities, and for this, the ability to argue, within one's own structure and with the various institutional or private partners of one's structure, on the advantages of practicing adapted physical activities for the populations that could benefit from them.


-the ability to develop new techniques or technologies within a structure


Students in this program will have the opportunity to take courses at the University of Louvain-la-Neuve.

Admission Requirements

Students with a Bachelor's degree in Adapted Physical Activity (APA) and a strong background in Life Sciences, or a Bachelor's degree in Life and Health Sciences (SVS) with an interest and experience in physical activity and sport or nutrition, are eligible. Professionals with three-year post-secondary qualifications demonstrating an interest and experience in physical activity, rehabilitation, or nutrition are also welcome. For degrees other than APA, particular attention will be paid to the applicant's professional project, and research projects will be given priority.
