The Biology Education Study Program is one of the study programs in the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. The Decree Number for the Establishment of the Study Program: E/114/1998, issued on May 22, 1998, the Decree Signing Officer, Malik Fadjar as the Director General of Islamic Religious Institutional Development. The Biology Education Study Program develops a curriculum as an academic foundation in organizing the learning process that reflects the Biology Education Study Program as an institution that has the authority and at the same time the academic ability to develop biology education and teaching. In 2015, the biology education study program was re-accredited by BAN-PT with a score of 347 and received a B. Study Program Overview The Biology Education Study Program is committed to organizing quality biology education and learning, research to improve the quality of learning, community service, and the creation of an Islamic and scientific learning environment. We also develop an innovative academic culture, collaborate with various institutions, and foster an entrepreneurial spirit in education. Our graduates are ready to become competent biology educators, innovative researchers, and entrepreneurs in the world of education. Vision of the Study Program To become a superior and competitive Biology Education Study Program by integrating Islamic values in Indonesia in 2020 Study Program Mission 1. Preparing Islamic and professional teaching staff in the field of Biology Education; 2. Developing and applying educational theories to support the implementation of professional biology learning; 3. Producing and disseminating research findings and biology learning development products; 4. Establishing partnerships to strengthen local, national and international networks; 5.
