The Master of Science Education Study Program offers advanced education at the S-2 level for educators, researchers and practitioners of Science Education who wish to develop their understanding and skills in integrating the principles of halal literacy in the teaching and learning of natural sciences.
Through a structured and globally-minded curriculum, this program aims to produce graduates who are able to teach science by paying attention to the halal aspects in the subject matter, teaching methods, and learning management as a whole. Students will also be equipped with knowledge of the latest developments in natural sciences as well as skills in designing and implementing relevant research in the context of halal literacy.
In facing the increasingly complex challenges of the world, this study program emphasizes the importance of developing critical, creative, and innovative thinking skills in its students, combined with a deep understanding of the principles of halal literacy. Graduates are expected to become agents of change who are able to spread understanding of halal literacy, promote the sustainability of natural resources, and make positive contributions in solving global problems such as climate change and environmental sustainability.
