The Hadith Concentration was established in 1999 with its main mission to prepare advanced graduates with adequate intellectual, social and moral qualifications. Initially, only a few people tried to enter this concentration, but over time, the enthusiasm for studying in this concentration began to increase. This is inseparable from the managerial support of the administrators and the good cooperation with various parties. The presence of Al-Azhar alumni who continued their studies in the Hadith Concentration triggered the dynamics of a lively KBM. They have a good basic Arabic language and experience studying at the oldest campus in the Islamic world. The alumni's absorption capacity is also quite good so that many alumni users feel helped by their presence.
Along with the change of IAIN to UIN, the academic platform at the Hadith Concentration also changed. Based on the results of the university senate meeting, the Hadith Concentration was changed to the Hadith Study Program with the aim of focusing more on improving quality in its various dimensions. Financial support and good governance also refresh the dynamics of the Study Program. Moreover, elegant infrastructure support. This is what makes the enthusiasm of this Study Program continue to be realized. The students are very happy with the conducive teaching and learning conditions coupled with the increasing teaching experience of their lecturers.
