The aim of the program is to create a scientific and educational environment in which doctoral students can acquire the skills to conduct specialized and excellent research in the legal field. As its title suggests, the program emphasizes the ways in which various legal disciplines address innovation, providing doctoral students with the tools needed to address organizational, technological, digital, and design transformations within public and private institutions.
This is done with due regard for the European legal space within which the program is located, and therefore taking into account the context of the EU legal system and its interactions with other entities in the international community.
The research topics covered by the program are broad, as evidenced by the subjects covered in the two curricula, which combine general training with specialized in-depth study. The program thus aspires to become a point of reference for researchers conducting cutting-edge work in its thematic fields, as well as for legal practitioners. As previously mentioned, the doctorate is the only one specifically dedicated to legal subjects established in the Region and, consequently, it is intended as a pilot project for postgraduate training and a qualified partner for public and private institutions in the region.
