The Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Convergence Journalism prepares students for careers as reporters, editors, anchors or producers in print, broadcast or online media. This degree provides an in-depth look at all aspects of integrated media, including writing, broadcast news, photography, television production, and interactive and online media. Students receive hands-on experience inside and outside the classroom through work in the JMC Network's converged media lab and on the staff of The Optimist, ACU's award-winning student newspaper with print, online and mobile versions. The cost of tuition for international students who are interested in studying at ACU are based on 30 hours and allows students to take up to 36 hours across the entire year for once price (including summer classes and online offerings).
