The Department of Fine Arts Education offers B. A.  and M. A. in Visual Arts Education which aim to raise teachers and scientists who keep up with technological developments and who are devoted to principles and rules of modern education, and competent in scientific and critical thinking in the field of visual arts education. Upon completing all requirements stated in the curriculum, the students will be granted Visual Arts Education diploma. Graduates of the four year B. A. programme are elligible to teach at state and private schools as visual arts teachers or work as instructors at state or private universities. Graduates of the two year M. A. programme are elligible to apply as instructors/lecturers at universities or continue their education at Ph. D. level. The department first started admitting students in 2016-2017 academic year and graduated its first students in 2020-2021 academic year. Currently, there are 8 academic personnel (3 at music teaching division and 5 at visual arts education division) at our department. Starting from September 2021, our department will admit its first graduate students to Visual Arts Education M.A. programme.
