Metallurgical and Materials Engineering department, established within Bartın University Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Design, started its undergraduate education in the 2009-2010 academic year.   This department is designed for undergraduate and graduate students who want to receive education and training in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering. It aims to contribute to the scientific infrastructure of the country and region by producing information on all kinds of engineering materials through scientific research to be carried out in the department and by applying this information.   Metallurgy and Materials Engineering:  It examines engineering materials, starting from their production, design, application and performance.   Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering 1 Prof. Dr., 3 Assoc. Dr., 2 Dr. Lecturer Members and 1 Dr. It continues its education with seven faculty members, including research assistants. There are three departments in the department. These are;   - Department of Material Science,   - Department of Production Metallurgy and   - the Department of Ceramic Materials.
