This will allow you to get to know and build relationships with the teaching staff, academics, and your peers. You will be assessed by a mixture of coursework and exams. You’ll receive support and feedback from staff throughout the degree.

You’ll have the chance to get involved in research being conducted by academic staff and PhD students through our Voluntary Research Assistant scheme. The BSc Psychology with Management degree offers specialised courses in areas such as counselling psychology, neuropsychology, fundamentals of marketing, employment law, human resource management, and more. Year one of the degree focuses on an introduction to psychology and management, research methods, and academic skills. Year two and three then cover more specific topics, such as developmental psychology, cognitive psychology, and social psychology. In year four, you’ll undertake an independent research project alongside your chosen courses from a range of options. That means you’ll have the opportunity to focus on the areas of psychology that interest you the most. Y ou’ll be required to demonstrate your mastery of the subject area by identifying and undertaking an appropriate area of research and presenting your results effectively by written and verbal means.

Plus, our BSc Psychology with Management programme offers you the opportunity to travel to Dubai or Malaysia to experience studying psychology and management in a different environment and culture. You can travel for one semester or one academic year, and we recommend that you do this in year two or the first part of year three.
