The Undergraduate Program in Biomedical Engineering combines engineering principles with biomedical sciences to develop innovative solutions that advance healthcare. Offered by the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, this multidisciplinary program prepares students for careers that bridge the gap between technology and medicine. Alongside understanding on engineering subjects encompassing electronics, instrumentation, signal processing, and intelligent systems, the curriculum equips students with fundamentals of anatomy and physiology, biophysics, biochemistry and molecular biology.
