The Forestry Engineering Undergraduate Study Program is an interdisciplinary education program to generate professional forestry engineers who are able to answer the challenges of the latest forestry problems. The vision of the study program is to become a leading study program that develops engineering science and technology in protecting, developing, and managing forest resources innovatively, productively, effectively, efficiently, and sustainably to support the development of bioindustries based on biodiversity. The mission of the study program is to produce professional forestry engineers who have reliable abilities in engineering ecosystems to protect, manipulate, construct, and manage forests sustainably to support the development of bioindustries based on biodiversity. To achieve the vision and mission, the Forestry Engineering Undergraduate Study Program establishes three educational objectives for its graduates to become virtuous and professional individuals to act as: 1. Forestry engineers who are able to understand and practice the principles and approaches of ecosystem-based engineering for the purpose of protecting, manipulating, constructing, and sustainably managing forests, including both the products and services contained therein. 2. Professional forestry engineer with integrity, responsibility, and resilience; able to work in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams and adhere to professional ethics in solving forestry engineering problems. 3. Scholars who have a desire for lifelong learning to develop themselves and adapt to changes in science and technology at the local and global levels.
