Admission Requirements

  • Pass in Matriculation or Foundation studies with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent; OR
  • Pass in STPM or its equivalent, with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.00) in any 2 subjects and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent; OR
  • Diploma in Computer Science OR Software Engineering OR Information Technology OR Information Systems or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent; OR
  • Any other Diploma in science and technology or business studies with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 may be admitted, subject to a rigorous internal assessment process and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent.

Candidates with CGPA below 2.5 but above 2.0 with a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent may be admitted, subject to a rigorous internal assessment process.

Note: The credit in Mathematics at SPM level for candidate (i), (ii), (iii) and (iv) can be waived should the qualification contains Mathematics subject with equivalent/ higher than the credit requirement at SPM level.

Candidate with a credit in computing related subject at SPM or STPM level or its equivalent may be given preferential consideration.
International students need to have proof for good oral and written English proficiency, for example a scale of 6.0 for the International English Language Testing System, IELTS or its equivalent.
