How do you manage a company? Which organizational structures are suitable? How are decisions made in companies? What does a balance sheet say? What do I have to consider when founding a company? How do I analyze markets? These and many other questions are addressed and discussed in an economically sound manner on the Bachelor's program in Business Management. Students learn to analyze business management issues and develop solution concepts.
The program provides a methodical introduction to economics and teaches a basic knowledge of business management in four semesters.
In the subsequent two-semester specialization program, you have the choice! In the process of your study you will probably develop a preference for certain areas of business management. We offer you a selection of different modules which allow you to further explore and study your area of interest. Participation a seminar is also part of the specialization program. In this module, you will develop your writing skills for writing academic texts.
In addition to subject-related courses, there are special courses in which interdisciplinary and personal key skills are acquired. Students are taught the ability to act responsibly on the basis of analytically trained thinking, to grasp problems of business practice structurally and to take account of changes in the professional world. Students can receive credit for voluntary work as part of the "CoMeT - Competencies and Methods Training" for voluntary work.
