The degree programme "Sport and Technology" is an interdisciplinary degree programme that focuses on the training of specialists who have both detailed and overview knowledge from the engineering and sports science subject areas and apply these integratively to problems in measurement technology and equipment design in sport. To this end, students acquire fundamental specialist knowledge in the field of sports science, engineering science and mathematics. In addition, they acquire competences in the areas of sports equipment technology and sports informatics and are able to independently familiarise themselves with diverse tasks using scientific methods and to adequately meet frequently changing demands of everyday professional life.
