Students passionate about learning are attracted to Temple because of its variety of academic programs: more than 450 are offered, including 149 bachelor’s degree programs. The University provides all of the resources and opportunities of a large, world-class research institution and the individual attention of a small college—average class size is only 26 students, with a 14:1 student-to-faculty ratio.
More than 75 percent of freshmen live on campus, where they are a short walk from class, fitness facilities, food trucks, and the many cultural, sports, and academic events that take place every day at Temple. There are more than 300 clubs, activities, and student organizations to choose from, and the University’s 10,200-seat entertainment complex hosts NCAA Division I basketball games as well as concerts—Fetty Wap, Sam Smith, and Bob Dylan have all performed there. The view isn’t bad either: Temple’s newest residential and dining complex, the twenty-seven-floor Morgan Hall, offers a breathtaking vista of the Philadelphia skyline.
