Learn the physics, anatomy and radiobiology required to help deliver cutting-edge radiation treatment care to patients with the Professional Science Master's in Medical Dosimetry in Temple University’s College of Science and Technology (CST). Open to students with a bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, this 30-credit Professional Science Master's (PSM) program will provide graduates with the necessary knowledge base and clinical experience to accurately generate radiation dose distributions and dose calculations and embark on successful careers.
Medical dosimetry is the science of calculating doses for patients who require radiation treatments. As a medical dosimetrist, you’ll collaborate with radiation therapists, medical physicists and radiation oncologists to design, generate and measure radiation dose distributions while providing oversight to high-level treatment procedures.
