Based on the importance of strategic planning, the department launches the strategic plan 1441-1445 AH. The plan, through the balanced scorecard, contains six paths, including six main indicators and seven strategic goals, from which 13 sub-goals and 22 operational initiatives emerge, which the department will implement during the plan’s duration.
The department provides academic programs that comply with Islamic law and national and scientific standards to qualify highly qualified graduates, equipped with knowledge, skill, ability and morals, to contribute to scientific research and community service.
It also seeks to enhance understanding of Sharia facts, concepts and values, to advance Islamic knowledge to apply Sharia solutions to contemporary issues, andRaising the level of capabilities and skills of male and female students in the department at all educational levels. The department identifies and updates fields of scientific research, keeps pace with developments and changes of the times, and opens horizons of cooperation with local, regional and international institutions and sectors.
