Bachelor's Program in Physical Education (Sports Management)

The Department of Sports Sciences (formerly Physical Education) at the College of Education, Umm Al-Qura University in Makkah Al-Mukarramah is the first academic department at the level of universities in the Arab Gulf Cooperation Council countries. It was established in 1396 AH, and many teachers, leaders, trainers and administrators graduated from it in the field of physical education and sports sciences.
Department objectives:
•Developing academic programs according to international standards to prepare a graduate with international specifications to meet the requirements of the labor market
• Improving the quality of scientific research outputs in a way that contributes to the development of the knowledge economy according to international standards
•Providing distinguished initiatives for volunteer work and community service 
•Continuous qualification to develop the efficiency of human cadres to achieve quality of life in accordance with national goals
•Enhancing the department’s position based on its history at the level of the Arab world
