Since 2008, the San Francisco Xavier University of Chuquisaca, through Resolution H. C. U No. 095/2008, has decided to decentralize academic units to the rural areas of the department. The objective was to generate an increase in economic flows in the productive sector through the transfer of technologies and innovations to producers in the areas of influence of these new academic units. Under this approach, the Senior Technician in Agricultural Production program was created within the Municipality of Alcalá, based on the following documents:

  • a. Through the established administrative procedure within our institution, on August 14, 2009, a resolution of the Honorable Faculty Council No. 19/2009 was approved, requesting the creation of the Senior Technician in Agricultural Production Academic Program in the Municipality of Alcalá, with the aim of generating and creating an educational model directly linked to the autonomous and joint process of the municipalities of that region of Chuquisaca. Furthermore, the same resolution approves the Curriculum Design for said program.
  • b. At the request of the Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and in accordance with Article 43 of the Organic Statute, the Academic Commission of the University issued Opinion No. 29/09 approving the Senior Technician in Agricultural Production Program within the Municipality of Alcalá.
  • c. On December 17, 2009, in an ordinary session of the Honorable University Council, the Opinion of the Academic Commission No. 29/09 was approved, along with the documents accompanying said opinion.
  • d. On August 23, 2011, with VICE-RECTORAL RESOLUTION No. 120/2011, Article 1, the modifications to the Curriculum Design of the "Senior Technician in Agricultural Production Program, Alcalá" were approved, and the academic regularization of the students was authorized, authorizing the purchase of tuition for the management. On March 13, 2019, with Resolution H. C. U 007/2019, the program was recognized as a Degree by approving the plan.

2. SUB-HEADQUARTERS REDENCIÓN PAMPA

For its opening of the Redemption Pampa sub-headquarters, there are letters of request, an inter-institutional agreement, a planning report, and Resolutions, which are detailed below:

  • a. The Director of the Senior Technician in Agronomy career, Lic. Oscar Vera F., through a letter CAGR T S. OF. No. 261 dated April 24, 2012, under Resolution H C. U. No. 147/2009 that creates the Senior Technician in Agricultural Production Program in Alcalá, requests the implementation of the Program in Redemption Pampa with the objective of giving greater sustainability to it and the professionalization of students in the area in crops of cereals, grains and high commercial and food value fruits that the Municipality of Mojocoya has as potential.
  • b. On August 21, 2012, the Director of the Agronomy T. S. career sent to the Vice-Rector of the University, Eng. Eduardo Rivera Zurita, a copy of the inter-institutional agreement signed between the University and Municipal authorities (Mojocoya), the purpose of which is to implement and establish the Senior Technician in Agricultural Production Program in the locality of Redemption Pampa.
  • c. On September 24, 2012, Resolution No. 14/2012 of the Honorable Faculty Council is issued, in which it is resolved to request the relevant authorities to approve the implementation of the Program in the Municipality of Villa Mojocoya. The documents accompanying this resolution are the presentation of the Curriculum Design carried out by the Director of the career to the Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of the Senior Technician in Agricultural Production Program with headquarters in the Municipality of Mojocoya.
  • d. On November 7, 2012, at the request of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, the Academic Commission Opinion No. 038/2012 is issued, in which it is suggested to the Honorable University Council the authorization of the regularization of the operation of the Senior Technician in Agricultural Production Program in the Locality Redemption Pampa Mojocoya. On November 19, 2012, the Rector, Eng. Walter Arízaga Cervantes, issued Vice-Rectoral Resolution No. 975/2012, which resolves the approval of the Academic Commission Opinion No. 038/2012 regarding the regularization of the operation of the Program.

3. SUB-HEADQUARTERS SERRANO For Group 3 with headquarters in Villa Serrano of the Senior Technician in Agricultural Production Program, there is only an inter-institutional agreement signed between the Franz Tamayo Superior School of Teachers E S. F. M and the Agronomy T. S. career and the Program headquarters in Villa Serrano, endorsed by the Superior Authorities of our House of Studies. In which agreement, in its institutional description, it states that the Agricultural Production Program is created by Resolution H. C. U No. 1 '12009 and is expanded under this resolution to Villa Serrano.

Our open-enrollment program offers a flexible pathway to a degree in Information Technology. While admission is open to all qualified applicants, a preparatory course may be required to ensure students have the necessary foundational knowledge.

This procedure applies to new students admitted to the San Francisco Xavier University of Chuquisaca in various admission modalities for the 2024 academic year.

STEP 1: Digital Document Submission The admitted applicant must access the web application admision.usfx.bo and upload the following digital documents:

  • High school diploma legalized by SEDUCA or authenticated by the USFX Cashier's Section (front and back).
  • Sixth-grade secondary school report card (or graduation certificate from the last year indicating the name of the educational institution).
  • Identity card (front and back).
  • A passport-sized photo with a white background.
  • Sixth-grade secondary school report card legalized by the District Education Directorate and Departmental Education Directorate (if the high school diploma is not available). Please include your full name, current cell phone number, and the program to which you were admitted.

STEP 2: University ID Assignment Academic Services, after verifying and validating the digitized documentation sent by the student, will generate a university ID number (VALID OR PROVISIONAL).

STEP 3: ID Number Verification The student must access the web application admision.usfx.bo and view the assigned University ID number.

STEP 4: Tuition Fee Generation The student must access the web page univesitarios.usfx.bo, look for the "ENROLL" option in the left-hand menu, and generate the amount to be deposited or transferred to the University's account for tuition.

STEP 5: Bank Deposit The student must make a deposit to the University's account, BANCO UNIÓN ACCOUNT No 1-33340493, Account Holder UMSFX – REC. PROPIOS – MATRICULAS UNIVERSITARIAS; they can also make the deposit using the generated QR code by accessing the web application univesitarios.usfx.bo.

STEP 6: Enrollment Completion The student must access the web application univesitarios.usfx.bo, select the "ENROLL" option, and fill in the following fields:

  • In the case of a bank deposit, they must enter the Bank Deposit number, and the deposit details will be displayed for subsequent enrollment. If the deposit number is not found, verify that the number is correctly written or wait for the bank data to be updated, which may take up to 4 hours in some cases.
  • If the QR code was generated to make the deposit, it is recommended to use it within the first 24 hours to avoid delays in enabling and printing the enrollment.
