The course in “Biotecnologie” aims at training graduates able to understand and analyze biological phenomena with an interdisciplinary focus aimed at technology transfer, product creation, and integrated management of production processes, in compliance with legislation and, deontological problems, bioethics and intellectual properties related to these activities. Biotechnology students will therefore have the opportunity to acquire basic skills in mathematical, chemical and physics disciplines, as well as specific skills in those biotechnological areas that are typically multidisciplinary and include molecular, cellular, bioinformatics, ethical-legal, chemical-pharmaceutical, and medical-health aspects. This training is achieved via a set of lessons shared by all students who can deepen their knowledge by selecting courses that develop more specific skills in the molecular, chemical-pharmaceutical, or medical fields. The course is suitable for both the continuation of university education with a second-level degree in biology, biotechnology or medical-pharmaceutical disciplines, band immediate entrance into the world of work, thanks to the solid preparation bases and the methodological approach received.
