Foundation Entry degree courses are designed for students who have the ability to study for a degree, but don’t have the necessary formal qualifications to enter directly onto their chosen Honours degree programme. We’re a recognised Centre of Excellence for fire safety engineering and our research centre in Fire and Hazards Science is second to none - if you’re aiming for a senior role in fire safety, this is the course for you. This course builds on the training and educational programmes offered by the Institution of Fire Engineers and is a very hands-on course - you’ll work with the training team at Lancashire Fire and Rescue HQ in your first year, and get the chance to work with fire safety engineering companies, all with the aim of boosting your employability when you graduate.
