The BSc Pharmacology course explores all this and more. On this degree you’ll study how disease affects the normal human body and learn in detail how drugs restore normal function. You will explore where drugs come from and how they are developed. Teaching is guided by research specialisms of the staff members, and includes neuropharmacology, nanotechnology, cancer treatments, and drugs of abuse. With over 300 hours of practical classes you will gain extensive hands-on experience discovering how molecules, cells and whole organisms function and how they are affected by drugs.
