Journalism is a global profession, and this course prepares you for an international career. You will learn multimedia reporting skills that enable many of our graduates to walk straight into jobs in journalism around the world, in print, online and broadcast. You will also learn how to think, to communicate and find your place in a globalised world, opening up many other graduate careers. This holistic approach to journalism, combining the professional, academic and organisational aspects, produces graduates who can do the job but also understand where their job fits into the bigger picture. This is a flexible course, designed to allow you to focus on the things that interest you and to customise your studies. Recent graduates are working at the BBC, South China Morning Post in Hong Kong, China Daily in Beijing, the Angolan Embassy in Lisbon, and in many other journalistic and public relations roles.
