The BSc Finance, Accounting and Management programme focuses on the modern firm and its financial environment. You will gain a solid grounding in areas including such as business finance, financial and management accounting, and business law. You will develop a broad educational base suitable for a future business leader.

You will be equipped with contemporary accounting knowledge and up-to-date practice, such as taxation, auditing and advanced financial management. In addition to the conventional finance modules, the degree course offers two cutting-edge finance modules, AI & FinTech, and Sustainable Finance. Upon graduation, you will be ready to work in accounting or financial service sectors.

You can also follow your interests and career aspirations by selecting from a wide range of optional modules alongside your core subjects, including entrepreneurship, corporate management, human resource management, international business, economics, tourism, database design and governance. You can choose from subject areas within or outside the Business School to broaden your skills and knowledge. 

Market-leading digital systems by SAP are integrated into this course to help demonstrate industrial practice and develop your digital skills. You also have the option to take industry-recognised digital professional qualifications by Microsoft and SAP alongside your course, which will help you stand out to future employers. 

By undertaking a Placement Year you will receive additional workshops in your first and second years, alongside professional advice from our dedicated Placements Team. 

You will spend year three in industry applying your skills in real world business environments. You can apply for placements available to students on your course or can agree your own placement with an appropriate company. During your placement year, you remain fully registered with the University, with regular meetings with our dedicated Placements Team.
