The course will provide students with skills for your career as a professional Dance Artist, concentrating on being a performer, choreographer and dance teacher. Students will learn in Déda - a creative centre for Dance, Contemporary Circus and Outdoor Work in the East Midlands – connecting locally, nationally and internationally. Students will have opportunities to present their own work in Déda Theatre, with full professional technical support and mentoring.Déda's professionally equipped studios and new purpose-built facilities will provide the ideal environment for students to engage with the dance profession through teaching, producing and residencies.
