This programme will allow you to gain an advanced understanding of clinical concepts of diseases and their pathophysiology, via laboratory-based investigation using cutting edge methodologies. You will learn critical reflection on biomedical theories and practice and develop a flexible approach to problem solving in biomedical science

  • You can choose one of three specialist options in the field of clinical immunology, advanced cellular pathology or clinical haematology and transfusion science. This offers you a chance to further pursue your interests in healthcare science

**STRONG INDUSTRY CONNECTIONS**

We have strong connections with the University Hospitals of Royal Derby and Burton NHS Trust, Nottingham University Hospital Trust and other health care providers. This gives you the opportunity to collaborate with a range of organisations on your research project.
