The Integrated Masters takes students on a journey through undergraduate to masters level learning, giving students greater opportunity to develop advanced research skills and specialist knowledge. The masters level modules build directly on those taken at earlier stages, meaning that students will benefit from a coherent programme which builds logically toward the MLit award. Students will study fascinating aspects of the subject at undergraduate level, including classical myth, the evolution of fantasy, the representation of crime, the legacy of Empire, cultural politics, existentialist writing, blasphemy and censorship. This course does not have any exam. Students will be assessed through essays and participation in seminars.
