This course will provide students with a firm grounding in human physiology and anatomy, biochemistry, genetics, medical microbiology, human diseases and global health. This will enable students to understand the basis of human disease, diagnosis and treatment. At the same time, students will explore how the biomedical regulation of the human body can be affected by a person’s physical wellbeing, their lifestyle choices, their environment, and the infectious diseases to which they can be exposed.
