Studying Accounting and Finance with a Foundation Year is for those who have the ability to study for a degree, but don’t have the necessary formal qualifications to enter directly on to the Honours degree programme. It provides students with a firm grounding in the skills and knowledge they need and introduces students to the subject of accounting, enabling them to achieve their full honours degree in four years. On graduation – and depending on the module pathway students have selected – students can apply for exemptions from ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, CPA Australia and AIA professional qualifications.
