- Be taught by staff with professional experience in a broad range of subjects including transportation, geotechnical engineering, structural engineering and water engineering
- Investigate contemporary research and engineering solutions designed to meet global challenges, such as the climate change emergency
- Complete advanced laboratory studies and use industry standard IT design software
Accreditation
This course is accredited by the Joint Board of Moderators (JBM) comprising of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE), Institute of Highway Engineers (IHE), the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation (CIHT) and the Permanent Way Institution (PWI) on behalf of the Engineering Council as meeting the academic requirement for further learning for registration as a Chartered Engineer (CEng). As such, it will help you develop your career as a leader in design, construction and management operations within civil engineering.
To hold accredited qualifications for CEng registration, candidates must also hold a Bachelor (Hons) degree that has been accredited as partially meeting the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered Engineer (CEng).
