The Business Management and Law Joint Honours BA (Hons) at DMU will equip students with a broad knowledge of the main features, concepts and principles of the UK and EU legal systems, along with developing their knowledge of the nature, role and processes of business, and providing a solid grounding in business concepts and methods. This joint honours is not a qualifying law degree and does not exempt one from the academic stage of legal training for the Law Society and Bar Council. However, at the end of year one it may be possible to transfer to the Law LLB, which is a qualifying law degree course.
