With more than 1,300 laboratories, over 150 workshops and 73 libraries, we aim to offer the best facilities and services for our students. We’re also home to the National Library of Science and Technology, the Conical Auditorium, the Tezozomoc Museum, a planetarium, as well as the Cultural Center which plays host to our very own symphony orchestra.
We house a language service at the Zacatenco and Santo Thomas Language Centers for both the National Polytechnic Institute community and outside community. You’ll be able to take language lessons in English, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese and Spanish.
We’re also very proud of our sporting heritage as we boast an Olympic-sized pool, athletics track, as well as 27 club teams, including American football, archery, basketball, cycling, swimming, volleyball and chess.

We welcome approximately 172,000 students across our high school, undergraduate and postgraduate levels, as well as on average, 100 international students each year.
Although we don’t have official student accommodation, we do offer advice and guidance to help students find suitable accommodation in private residential areas near the campus.
To ensure students are prepared for the world of work, we aim to connect the world of academia with the professional workplace by building and maintaining close contacts with local enterprises as well as international corporations, such as Ford, Microsoft, CFE and GM.
