The Master's program in Natural Resources and the Environment began its activities in August 2000, entered the National Postgraduate Quality Program (PNPC/CONACYT) in development in 2008, and is currently a consolidated program, achieving one of the objectives of CIIDIR -IPN U. Sinaloa, which is the training of high-level human resources that meet the requirements of the productive and social sectors with quality, in order to contribute to the comprehensive and sustainable development of the region's resources.
This master's degree contributes to the achievement of the institutional vision of the IPN, generating and disseminating quality knowledge, which is acquired by graduating students, which contributes to regional development and the country in general. The center's vision is “To be a leader in cutting-edge research and excellent postgraduate studies.
