A fundamental piece in the process is to satisfy the demands declared by an external organization to the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN). In it, an organization makes contact with the CICATA Querétaro and makes an approach about a need. Towards the interior of Cicata Querétaro, an assessment is made of whether they have the capacity to address the problem with their group of teachers. If positive, the project can be attended within the framework of the postgraduate course.
The activity of the MTA-PI revolves around the development of a project. Projects are developed in iterations, where the expectation is that each iteration gets closer to satisfying the need. Project members actively seek to remove the obstacles that stand between the current state of affairs and the resolution of the need.
