The Master of Science in Agroecological Management of Pests and Diseases aims to train human resources with knowledge, skills and attitudes that allow them to conduct research on phytosanitary problems and offer environmentally sound and sustainable management alternatives. In this way, it fulfills the Polytechnic mission of training human resources at the postgraduate level who carry out research with the capacity to transfer their results to the agricultural sector. Admission is in August of each year and the applicant must meet the established requirements. The admission process takes place two months before the start of classes. The reception of documents is all year round.
The study program is flexible, allowing the program to be planned and organized for each student, according to their previous academic training and the line of research to which their thesis work will be linked.
It is registered in the National Postgraduate Program (PNPC) of the National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT), so students can access scholarships.

Admission Requirements

Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in the area of ​​Chemical-Biological or Agricultural Sciences and have an interest in scientific and technological research in the area of ​​agricultural pest and disease management. They must show basic knowledge of biology and agricultural sciences, and the verbal and quantitative abilities that correspond to graduates of a bachelor's degree. They must show willingness to carry out laboratory and field research activities, as well as for multidisciplinary collaborative work. Their values ​​must be consistent with those of the National Polytechnic Institute and those of society in general. They must also test their ability to read and understand texts in English.
