The Master of Science in Educational Physics program offers a professional training alternative for teaching Physics as well as for basic and applied research on the learning and teaching processes of Physics. In this sense, this postgraduate course aims to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and the training of teachers and researchers to:
-Offer the applicant a solid theoretical, methodological, technical and investigative training that qualifies him for the scientific solution of problems related to the teaching-learning process of Physics. -Face in a broad sense the problem posed by the incorporation of knowledge of Physics into the didactic system and thereby encourage teaching to effectively produce learning. -Plan, implement and professionally evaluate the teaching of Physics. -Know the conditions of teaching physics at school and clarify the conditions of learning, with the aim of using said knowledge to improve educational processes. -Interact with national and international organizations to have a greater impact and coverage.

Admission Requirements

Applicants to the Master of Science in Educational Physics program are professionals in various fields of knowledge committed to their educational environment and interested in using research and its results to produce educational innovations. For this it is necessary:
  • Have the ability to manage computer tools such as the personal computer, email, Internet and the institutional educational platform (Moodle).
  • Have an interest in documentary research in print and electronic media.
  • Ability in reading, writing and verbal expression.
  • Ability for independent study.
  • Disposition for individual and team work, in person and/or through the Polytechnic Virtual Campus.
  • Ability to establish cordial and respectful relationships with peers, teachers, students and other Institute staff.
  • Willingness to incorporate information and communication technologies into their daily practice.
  • Self-management skills for managing your time spent on the graduate program.
  • Possess a bachelor's degree in the areas of engineering, physical sciences, mathematics or education.
  • Be active Physics teachers with a minimum academic load, with exclusive dedication to the program.
