Admission Requirements

  1. In addition to the general admission requirements for postgraduate studies stipulated in the regulations, admission to the program is also required to meet the following:
  2. The applicant must be a Saudi or hold an official scholarship for postgraduate studies if he is not a Saudi.
  3. To hold a master's degree in the field of Prophetic Tradition
  4. To be of good character and conduct, and medically fit.
  5. He must submit two academic recommendations from professors who have previously taught him.
  6. Approval from his employer for the study if he is an employee.
  7. The basic principle for doctoral studies is full-time dedication, but the university council may make exceptions to this whenever the need arises.
  8. Passing the university aptitude test with a score of no less than (65) out of (100).
  9. Passing the achievement test in the scientific specialization conducted by the department, with a score of no less than (70) out of (100).
  10. Passing the test of the Holy Quran, at least ten parts.
  11. To meet any other conditions specified by the University Council and announced at the time of application.
  12. The applicant must meet the admission criteria and conditions for the year in which he applied, in accordance with what is stated in the admission guide for graduate studies programs at the Islamic University announced in that year by the Deanship of Graduate Studies.
