The physics program is an academic program that provides a distinguished physics education for the bachelor’s level to prepare a graduate capable of competing in the labor market, innovating, and conducting academic and applied research in the fields of physics to serve society and sustainable development.

1. Define the general theoretical and experimental concepts and techniques of physics.


2. Describe a broad range of physics topics on all scales; including sub-atomic to galaxies scales.


3. Recognize the relevant mathematical techniques and their applications to physics problems.


4. Outline experimental procedures, including proper data recording, analysis and reporting.


5. Explain physical phenomena using fundamental principles.


6. Reconstruct appropriate mathematical methods and numerical techniques to solve physics problems.


7. Analyze experimental data to infer conclusions using a range of physics techniques.


8. Demonstrate self-learning through oral and written presentations and reports, using IT and effective communication tools.


9. Appraise time management, working independently and within a team.


10. Show commitment to honesty, Islamic culture, diversity and innovation.

Admission Requirements

2.75+
  1. Conditions for admission to the program: These are the general conditions for admission to the university level stipulated in the unified regulations for study in Saudi universities, and their executive rules and organizational procedures approved at the Islamic University. In addition to what the department sees.
  2. Obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Physics requires completing 137 credit hours of study with a cumulative GPA of no less than 2.75 out of 5.00.
