Preparing specialists in literary, rhetorical and critical studies with high competence and ability to produce innovative scientific research that contributes to the knowledge industry and achieves sustainable development and community partnership.

Goals:

Paying attention to the eloquence and miraculous nature of the Holy Qur’an, and the clarity and expression of the noble Hadith.
To be familiar with the most important literary, rhetorical and critical issues, and to know their sources and the opinions of scholars on them.
Consolidating authentic Arab and Islamic values, taking pride in Arab identity and passing it on to future generations in accordance with Vision 2030, which seeks to achieve a vibrant society with firmly established values.
To increase the cultural and linguistic capital of Saudi society, and to employ the Arabic language to serve the Muslim community inside and outside the Kingdom.
Refining rhetorical and critical taste to understand, appreciate, and judge texts.
Developing a sense of responsibility, the necessity of self-learning, and teamwork.
Familiarity with various research methods, and the use and application of modern technology in the field of specialization
