Admission Requirements

Admission to the program is subject to general conditions as stipulated in the Unified Regulations for Postgraduate Studies in Saudi Universities and its implementing rules at the Islamic University, including: 1- The applicant must be a Saudi citizen or hold an official postgraduate scholarship if non-Saudi. 2- The applicant must hold a university degree from a Saudi university or another recognized university. 3- The applicant's grade point average must be at least "Very Good" at the undergraduate level. 4- The applicant must be of good character and conduct and medically fit. 5- The applicant must submit two academic recommendations from professors who have previously taught them. 6- The applicant's employer must approve their studies if they are employed. 7- The applicant must pass the Graduate Aptitude Test with a score of at least 65 out of 100. 8- The applicant must pass the achievement test in their scientific specialization, administered by the department, with a score of at least 70 out of 100. 9- The applicant must fulfill any other conditions determined by the University Council and announced at the time of application. 10- The applicant must meet the admission criteria and conditions for the year in which they apply, as outlined in the admission guide for graduate programs at the Islamic University, published that year by the Deanship of Graduate Studies. There are also program-specific requirements, which are as follows: 1- The applicant must hold a bachelor's degree from the College of Hadith or one of the Sharia colleges. 2- The student must have obtained their degree through full-time study.
