Program Origins:
The program was established at the Islamic University in 1441 AH (2018 AD), to contribute to the development of mechatronics and robotics in the Kingdom through highly qualified graduates capable of dealing with the latest systems in the field of mechatronics and robotics in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
Goals:
- The program provides an opportunity for the student to keep up with future requirements in the field of robotics and mechatronics and plays a key role in developing the student to face the challenges related to the field of robotics and mechatronics and keep up with the rapid developments in the same field.
- Encouraging scientific and applied research, especially in relation to the Kingdom's requirements.
- Producing world-class graduates with a global outlook, capable of working both within and outside the Kingdom.
- The program enhances the student's skills in effective communication and teamwork.
- The program develops scientific research skills, including the ability to understand scientific research methods and methods of observation and analysis using engineering software.

Admission Requirements
- The number of hours for core courses is 20 credit hours.
- The number of credit hours for the thesis is 8.
- The number of hours for elective courses is 9 credit hours.
- Candidates are required to submit references or letter(s) of recommendation for acceptance
