Reasons for creating the program:
1- In response to the directive of His Majesty to establish a college that is the first of its kind in the field of the Holy Quran at the global level.
2- The Holy Quran is a primary source of legislation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. (Refer to the text of the article on the Basic Law of Governance).
3- Meeting the functional need by filling available teaching positions that require this program in particular.
4- To produce a generation proficient in reciting the Holy Quran with different readings, and knowledgeable in the sciences of the Holy Quran and its interpretation.
5- Contributing to providing the community with imams for mosques who are highly proficient in recitation and knowledgeable in interpreting the Holy Qur’an and jurisprudential rulings.
Characteristics of a Bachelor's Degree Graduate in Quranic Studies and Islamic Studies:
• Qualification in the field of the Holy Quran, its sciences and readings.
• Mastering the Arabic language both theoretically and practically.
• Knowledge of research methodologies and heritage verification.
• To strive to acquire the necessary cognitive and scientific skills.
• Cooperating with others and participating in activities that contribute to spreading knowledge.
• Adhering to the ethics and manners of the Holy Quran and adopting the characteristics of a moderate Islamic personality

To be a Saudi citizen, or on an official scholarship if he is not a Saudi citizen.
To have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
To have obtained the certificate through full-time study.
To be a memorizer of the entire Holy Quran.
He must be of good character and conduct, and medically fit.
