It offers the opportunity to develop a creative writing portfolio at the same time as getting to grips with how the publishing process works. You'll benefit from teaching staff who have practical experience of working in publishing and/or creative writing industries, attend a series of masterclasses across the disciplines and work on live projects for Kingston University Press.

We normally expect applicants to have: a second class degree or above in a related subject; and/or a demonstrative interest in creative writing. You must also submit a 3,000-word sample of creative writing, a personal statement (1,000 words) plus references. // We normally invite applicants for an interview with the admissions director or another senior member of the teaching team. We will ask you to submit a creative writing sample of up to 3,000 words with your application.
