You’ll develop a deep insight into human thought, action and behaviour. This course features many opportunities to apply your learning to the real world. For example, our students have acted as a consultant to a charity to find solutions for a real-life social issue and worked with the University to evaluate psychological challenges of the climate change emergency.
While on the course, you’ll develop skills for your future career, including teamwork, communication, time and task management, statistical analysis of data, problemsolving and the ability to critically evaluate evidence.

An understanding of society and human behaviour is useful in many careers. Graduates are particularly well-placed for careers in central or local government, the media and human resources.
