On this course, you’ll explore practical filmmaking and develop a range of skills to work professionally in the creative industries.

Through group and individual projects, you’ll pitch and create films to gain practical production knowledge in the fields of fiction, documentary and artist’s film. You’ll be taught by industry professionals through workshops, lectures, tutorials, production meetings, screenings and reviews.

You’ll study film histories, directing actors, studio and location shooting, running a set, production, post-production workflows, lighting and cinematography, sound recording and design.

Your final year will culminate in two large-scale film projects which provide material for your graduation portfolio and shape your career as a filmmaker.
