The Master of Laws (LLM) in International Law, offered by Metropolitan College, in collaboration with Oxford Brookes University, covers the full spectrum of international law theories and practices, as applied in the modern world, helping students to enhance their skills and enter the professional arena fully equipped.

During studies, students gain knowledge, practical skills and experience. To this end, they are encouraged to participate in mock trials, draft legal documents and applications, come in contact with both the Greek legal system and international conventions and practices. Thus, they gain invaluable experience in how to research case law, prepare and produce extensive legal writing, and present a legal proposal in front of an audience.


Additionally, they attend workshops on legal writing, presentation skills and career development, in order to develop effective examination methods and solve complex legal issues.


Each student has its own personalized support by a mentor who is responsible to help on academic performance issues, setting and achieving goals, as well as career development.


The course also gives students the opportunity to attend a variety of networking events and meet prominent international lawyers, leaders in the field of international law. Project-specific events and specialized lecture series by experts, that take place throughout the year, are also one of the main assets of the postgraduate programme.

High school leaving certificates issued by national Lyceums with a minimum grade of 10 or equivalent foreign certificates (e.g. International Baccalaureate, European Baccalaureate, etc.) - Letters of Recommendation - Copy of Identity Card - Passport-sized photos - Application Form
The evaluation of the above supporting documents is completed by the personal selection interview of the candidates.
