Studying Media Production - Film Directing at Metropolitan College is the ticket of every ambitious creator who dreams of a future career in the film industry. The BA in Media Production - Film Directing is one of the most award-winning programmes in Film Directing in Greece as the films of students and graduates have been distinguished and received the Best Direction and Best Film awards in Greek and International Film Festivals. The Film Directing programme is designed to educate and train creative individuals with strong artistic and technical foundations, capable of developing and delivering high-quality audiovisual productions. The curriculum covers the full spectrum of creative and production processes required for the development of film, television, web-based content, and new technology-driven audiovisual formats.
Students acquire both theoretical knowledge and practical skills that enable them to actively participate in the conception, planning, and execution of audiovisual projects. Emphasis is placed on creativity, aesthetic awareness, technical proficiency, and a deep understanding of the social and cultural context of contemporary media production.
Graduates of the programme will be equipped to collaborate effectively with professionals from a range of disciplines, respond to the evolving demands of the audiovisual and creative industries, and seize the opportunities presented by emerging technologies and the global media landscape. Admission Requirements

5.5+
High school leaving certificates issued by national Lyceums with a minimum grade of 10 or equivalent foreign certificates (e.g. International Baccalaureate, European Baccalaureate, etc.) - Letters of Recommendation - Copy of Identity Card - Passport-sized photos - Application Form
The evaluation of the above supporting documents is completed by the personal selection interview of the candidates.
