The BSc (Hons) Speech and Language Therapy at the Metropolitan College covers the entire range of voice, speech, language and articulation disorders in children and adults, which may be due to birth defects, accidents or illnesses. Students’ theoretical education is complemented by the comprehensive clinical training programme throughout their studies. It is worth noting that the Speech and Language Therapy Department of the Metropolitan College is the only academic department of a private educational institution which participates in research activities, such as research conducted by the Universities of Thessaloniki and Ioannina, as well as in international conferences.
The academic and scientific personnel of the Metropolitan College consists of professional Speech and Language Therapists, Doctors, Psychologists and Special Educators with extensive educational experience and the ability to impart knowledge. The programme covers all the educational units that make up the science of Speech and Language Therapy, while combining theoretical education with clinical training.
