This professionally accredited course adheres to a scientist-practitioner model that stresses a systematic problem-solving approach. This course is accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) and is recognized by the Psychology Board of Australia and the College of Clinical Psychologists at the Australian Psychological Society (APS). The objective of this course is to prepare psychologists who are skilled in individual casework and can apply their skills and knowledge to prevention, research, development, and evaluation at the individual and system levels. This course involves coursework, practicum, and research components that will qualify students as clinical psychologists at Master’s degree level. This course incorporates at least three approved placements in which candidates must undertake.

  • Requires a recognised and accredited Bachelor of Arts degree (or Bachelor of Science degree) with at least 2A Honours in Psychology or its equivalent;
  • Attend interview;
  • Acquire provisional registration with Psychology Board of Australia within the first two weeks of commencing the program;
  • Obtain a Federal police clearance (which will include WA clearance) and working with children check by the Department of Child Protection;
  • Full immunisation records may be required.
